Job Description:
Fast growing medical publishers specialising in conferences and consulting are currently recruiting for a Managing Editor. You will be responsible for four quarterly cardiovascular and vascular newspapers distributed to a circulation of 20000 specialists. The successful candidate will be will expected to generate editorial and technology updates and reports from attending major meetings both at home and abroad. Working as part of team you will have regular contact with clinicians, clients, printers and designers and in addition you be required to regularly update the company's website. If you are keen on this role you will need to be educated to degree level or possess substantial experience as either a journalist or medical writer, posses excellent written skills and have a strong eye for detail. A knowledge of the cardiovascular field, strong project management skills and the ability to conduct interviews is also needed.
